For refit and boatyard crews

Put it back together without guessing.

ReFit photographs, bags and labels every part as it comes off the boat — searchable by boat, area and component — so the rebuild is exact and the record is done before anyone walks off the job.

A ReFit capture in progress: a gloved hand holding hardware photographed against the workbench, filed under bag 444.

Four steps, done at the bench

01

Capture as you tear down

Photograph the part while it is still in your hand, bag it, and label the bag with a scanned QR or an auto-generated number. No writing it up later from memory.

The ReFit capture screen, choosing how to identify a bag: scan a QR code, auto-number it, or enter a label.
02

Organised by boat, area and component

Every capture lands under the right boat, area and component — so six months later the record reads like the vessel, not like a camera roll.

A ReFit job overview for the vessel Castaway showing capture counts and flagged items by area.
03

Reassemble from the record

Each part carries its own stage, notes and photos from removal through to reinstall, so the tech doing the rebuild can see what the tech who pulled it saw.

A ReFit part detail screen showing its lifecycle stage and technician notes.
04

Export the whole job

Hand the owner, the surveyor or your own files a complete record — Excel, CSV, JSON or PDF, with the photos attached.

What the hunting actually costs you

The expensive part of a refit is not the documentation — it is a tech standing in front of an open bulkhead trying to remember which bolt went where. Twenty minutes a day, per tech, is a conservative floor.

Does it work where there is no signal?

Yes. Capture runs offline and syncs when the device is back on a connection, which is the normal case in a shed or below decks.

Do we have to buy QR labels?

No. You can scan a QR or barcode if you already use them, or let ReFit auto-number each bag. Both work the same way afterwards.

Can I control who sees which boat?

Yes. Admins, team leads, techs and parts staff are separate roles, and techs and team leads only see the boats they are assigned to.

What happens to the record if we stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. The shop goes read-only — you can still open and export every job — and you can export the full record, photos included, at any time. The export is a plain file you keep, not a format that needs ReFit to open.

How long before a crew is actually using it?

It is a phone app with a camera and a job list. The first capture takes about a minute; there is no implementation project.

When do you actually charge us?

We collect a card at signup, but nothing is charged during the 14 days. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.

What does the trial cost?

Nothing for 14 days — full access, every feature. You pick a plan when the trial ends, and you can cancel at any point before then without being charged.
